Why I'm Running

For nearly four decades, Pleasanton has been more than a place I call home. It is the community that has shaped who I am and strengthened my commitment to public service. Over the years, I have had the privilege of becoming deeply involved in our community and, for the past eight years, serving on the Pleasanton City Council.

That experience has taught me that leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about listening carefully, asking difficult questions, standing up for what you believe is right, and making thoughtful decisions with the future of our community in mind. Through my service and community involvement, I have seen the challenges Pleasanton faces, but I have also seen the incredible people who step up, get involved, and work together to make our community stronger.

My journey has always been grounded in a simple belief: when you care deeply about where you live, you have a responsibility to help make it better. That is why I am running for Mayor. I want to continue serving the community I have called home for nearly 40 years and help ensure that Pleasanton remains a strong, vibrant, and welcoming community for generations to come.
